On this night, the veil between the living and the dead was thought to be at its thinnest, leading people to don spooky costumes and light fires to ward off wandering spirits.

When many Irish immigrants arrived in America during the 19th century, they brought these traditions with them. In the USA, these Celtic traditions mingled with other influences, evolving into the Halloween we know today. 3. Moisten the tattoo with a sponge or cloth and wait approx. 20 seconds.

4. Carefully remove the paper and allow the tattoo to dry briefly.

5. Repeat steps 1 to 4 on several balloons.
