Halloween – a spooky spectacle

Halloween is just around the corner! Get ready for spooky parties, scary decorations and lots of fun.

This ancient tradition traces its roots back to Ireland. According to Celtic beliefs, there were only two seasons: summer, representing life, and winter, the realm of death. October 31st, known as Samhain, marked the shift from summer to winter and was believed to be a night of magic. On this night, the veil between the living and the dead was thought to be at its thinnest, leading people to don spooky costumes and light fires to ward off wandering spirits.

When many Irish immigrants arrived in America during the 19th century, they brought these traditions with them. In the USA, these Celtic traditions mingled with other influences, evolving into the Halloween we know today. Now, Halloween is a global celebration, embraced across Europe and beyond with parties, decorations, pumpkin carving, and all sorts of eerie fun.

At Print Tattoo, we have three creative ways to make your Halloween decorations even spookier. Our adhesive tattoos aren’t just for skin—they can be applied to nearly any smooth surface! Let us show you how versatile our tattoos are and how you can use them to add an extra touch of fright to your Halloween festivities.

1. Tattoo your balloon!

A party without balloons is like Halloween without candy! Make your balloons stand out by designing your own Halloween tattoos and adding them for a one-of-a-kind, spooky flair. Unleash your creativity—envision a scary face on your balloon, white bones on a black balloon, or eerie phrases that send shivers down your spine. The possibilities are endless!

Just like applying them to skin, this method is simple and fun. You’ll need your custom-designed tattoos, a sponge, some water, and of course, a pumpkin. The result? A one-of-a-kind, spooky pumpkin that’s perfect for adding a unique touch to your Halloween festivities!
